About Us

Gloss photography UK, first started as an idea to bring London style contemporary photography to Wales. On February 5th 2007 we opened our first High Street studio in Pentre, Rhondda Valleys. After a flying start to the business we were hit by the credit crunch and decided to close the studio and focus our efforts on sustaining the web business.

A year later the web business has become a success. With the new website up and running we have started to become a main competitor as a wedding photographic business in South Wales.

Gavin John, became interested in photography at Tonypandy Community College. In 2009 he became a member of the SWPP, (society of wedding and portrait) and SIFGP (Society of International Fashion & Glamour. Throughout the years Gavin John has had the chance to work with some of the best photographers in the business, including names such as John Newman and Martin Paterson.

He can still be found living in Rhondda Valleys with his 5 year old son Bailey John.
